Together we can do more.
We wouldn’t be able to do the work we do without our creative and talented team.
They make our mission possible.
Our organizational purpose is to increase opportunities for our students. Students are our reason, our why, and our purpose. We support student growth and believe all students can be successful.
Dedicated to supporting students. We work within our teams to accomplish our goals and support other teams to accomplish theirs. We’re united in our purpose!
Our work environment is dynamic. To respond to changing needs, we need employees dedicated to learning, improving their skills, and becoming knowledgeable in new methods.
Our organization evolves and must innovate to keep abreast of new trends and priorities.
We value individuals who take initiative and are motivated to go above and beyond on their assignments.
Build your career at Austin Partners in Education!
Austin Partners in Education (APIE) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving student college and career readiness through student-centric tutoring and mentoring programs.
With support from the Greater Texas Foundation, APIE has embarked on a three-year project designed to support the development of the P-TECH program at Akins Early College High School. The goals of the project are to help create a program model and framework, support the implementation of work-based learning experiences, and provide direct academic support to P-TECH students.
The Work-based Learning Specialist will be responsible for (1) facilitating and supporting the design and development of work-based learning activities in collaboration with project partners and (2) designing and developing supplemental academic support content and material for college-level P-TECH courses.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a project that will contribute to the growing body of knowledge about effective P-TECH programs. The Work-Based Learning Specialist will report to APIE’s Associate Director and collaborate closely with the APIE P-TECH Program Research and Project Manager.
The Organization is committed to equal employment opportunity. Our policy is to recruit, hire, train, promote, evaluate and reward employees for their individual abilities, achievements and experience without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, age, disability, veteran status, sex, genetic information, sexual orientation or other legally protected status. The Organization will make every effort to ensure that both the letter and spirit of laws prohibiting employment discrimination are fully implemented.
