Algunos estudiantes tienen antecedentes diferentes a los suyos; respetarlo es clave. Cruzar las barreras culturales requiere esfuerzo, pero si desea salvar distancias, es importante ser paciente y mantener la mente abierta.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>S\u00e9 objetivo<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No tome el comportamiento de los estudiantes como algo personal<\/li>\n<li>Sea consciente de su reacci\u00f3n \/ respuesta a los estudiantes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>No tenga miedo de re\u00edr y admitir errores, \u00a1tenga sentido del humor!<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Modele que est\u00e1 bien cometer errores<\/li>\n<li>Utiliza tu sentido del humor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Respeto \/ Confianza<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recuerda que para que te respeten hay que darlo<\/li>\n<li>Generar confianza requiere tiempo y paciencia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Escucha<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Intenta escuchar m\u00e1s de lo que hablas<\/li>\n<li>Aceptar que los sentimientos de un estudiante son v\u00e1lidos<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Se consistente<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Es mucho m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil relacionarse con sus estudiantes si pierde varias clases.<\/li>\n<li>Sea constante semana a semana con las pautas de comportamiento del grupo<\/li>\n<li>Ser inconsistente har\u00e1 que pierda el respeto y la atenci\u00f3n de los estudiantes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><em>Esperamos que se una al personal de APIE, a sus maestros y a otros voluntarios y mentores para el <a title=\"Happy Hour de fin de a\u00f1o de APIE\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/238391676352231\/\">happy hour de fin de a\u00f1o<\/a> HOY en Contigo Austin!<\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Los coordinadores de tutor\u00eda de lectura de sexto grado, Chris y Hannah, prepararon un excelente folleto para la charla de abril entre voluntarios y mentores. \u00a1\u00c9chale un vistazo a continuaci\u00f3n!
