(b) Weil sie eine gro\u00dfe Idee haben, wie man Kindern Mathematik beibringt und dar\u00fcber sprechen. (c) Weil sie Klassencoaches f\u00fcr Austin Partners in Education sind. (d. Alles das oben Genannte.<\/p>\n<p>Die richtige Antwort lautet (d).<\/p>\n<p>Diese Woche lernte ich das Team von Freiwilligen von IBM kennen, als sie in die Matheklasse der Burnet Middle School gingen. Was f\u00fcr eine beeindruckende Gruppe von Freiwilligen!<\/p>\n<p>Mein erstes Interview begann mit Andrew Holle. Andrew, ein Ingenieur bei IBM, hat sich letztes Jahr freiwillig als Math Classroom Coach bei uns gemeldet. In diesem Jahr kommen ein Dutzend seiner Mitarbeiter zu ihm, als er sein zweites Coaching-Jahr beginnt.<\/p>\n<p>Andrew ist ein einfacher Typ, mit dem man sprechen kann. Er ist super schlau, informativ und freundlich. Offensichtlich hat er eine Leidenschaft f\u00fcr Service. Und er k\u00fcmmert sich um Kinder und Bildung. F\u00fcr Austin Partners in Education war es ein echter Gewinn, dass er nicht der einzige bei IBM ist, der dieser Beschreibung entspricht. Dank ihres unternehmerischen Engagements wird eine ganze Klasse von Sch\u00fclern der Burnet Middle School in diesem Jahr neben dem extremen pers\u00f6nlichen Engagement von 13 freiwilligen Trainern eine gute Zeit haben, um mathematische F\u00e4higkeiten zu erlernen.<\/p>\n<p>Jarom Pe\u00f1a, ein weiteres Mitglied des IBM-Teams, wurde im Rio Grande-Tal geboren und beschreibt seine Erziehung als mittleres Kind von acht Jahren als eine echte Mischung aus Kulturen, Pers\u00f6nlichkeiten, Bildung und Ideen. Seine Eltern konzentrierten sich immer auf die Bedeutung von Bildung und harter Arbeit. Er erkl\u00e4rt, warum er trainiert: \u201eIch m\u00f6chte das Leben dieser Sch\u00fcler positiv beeinflussen. Ich mag die Idee, w\u00e4hrend des Schuljahres regelm\u00e4\u00dfig mit ihnen zusammenzuarbeiten. Es gibt uns die M\u00f6glichkeit, Beziehungen aufzubauen und Kommunikationskan\u00e4le zu \u00f6ffnen. \u201c<\/p>\n<p>Sandy Dochen, IBMs Managerin f\u00fcr Corporate Citizenship und Corporate Affairs (f\u00fcr Texas, Arkansas und Louisiana), war Vorsitzende von Austin Partners in Education unter seinem fr\u00fcheren Modell und Namen als Adopt-a-School in Austin.
