All volunteers, mentors, tutors and school personnel are invited to attend. Mary Black, President of Accelerating Latino Academic Success, will lead the discussion. Topics addressed will include:
- Working with Hispanic students
- Hispanic education issues
- Cultural strengths of Hispanic students
- Hispanic Families
- Culture of Poverty and its effects on students
